Zhoosh Beauty started in 2024, but the heart of it started long before that during a deeply personal time in my life. Postpartum depression looks different for everyone. For me, it felt as though it had taken my voice. I struggled to put what I was feeling into words and, Lipstick became a small way for me to express myself. I chose shades that matched my mood, or the mood I wanted to step into that day.

That experience made me think about the way we talk about makeup. So often, it’s described as something we use to cover up. But what if it could also help us show more of who we are?

We began as a lipstick company, inspired by the idea that a single shade could say something when words felt hard to find. Today, Zhoosh Beauty has grown into a full makeup brand, built by a team of four women who believe in our products and in the freedom to express yourself on your own terms.

Zhoosh means to make something more stylish, interesting, or lively with a small change or addition. To us, it’s about those little touches that can make a look feel like 𝘠𝘰𝘶! Some days that’s a bold lip. Other days it’s barely anything at all.

However you choose to wear makeup, we hope Zhoosh Beauty gives you room to express yourself, not cover yourself up.
